Paramount Citrus Association is founded by Lou Ghiz to give independent orange growers an opportunity to market fresh fruit.

Paramount is purchased by Stewart and Lynda Resnick.

Paramount joins Sunkist Coop of citrus growers as its largest member.

2000

Paramount acquired fresh citrus operations of Dole Food Company; begins planting mandarins.

2004

Paramount pioneers citrus marketing with the launch of the Cuties California Mandarins brand with JV partner Sun Pacific.

Paramount leaves Sunkist Coop to become an independent marketer, investing in expanding mandarin marketing.

2007-2009

Paramount acquires 6,000 acres of lemons in Mexico.

2010-2011

Paramount acquires 5,000 acres of limes in Mexico.

2012

New 700,000 sq. ft , state-of-the-art mandarin packing house is completed; Paramount acquires Healds Valley Farms and Rio Queen ruby red grapefruit product lines, capturing 75% of the Texas citrus market.

Wonderful Halos mandarins is launched; Wonderful Sweet Scarletts Texas Red Grapefruit is launched; Paramount acquires Grimmway Farms Citrus.

Paramount Citrus rebranded to Wonderful Citrus.

Wonderful acquires Grupo B&S and I. Kunik to become the largest lime grower in Mexico.

2017

Wonderful acquires DNE World Fruit – a leading importer of counter seasonal citrus and marketer of Florida citrus; becomes a year-round supplier of all key citrus varieties with packing capabilities in NJ.

2018

First year of offering Halos in the summer – packing counter-seasonal citrus under the Halos brand; a five-year and 3,000+ acre expansion of Texas grapefruit and juice oranges is completed.

Wonderful Seedless Lemons, a variety 100% exclusive to Wonderful, is launched.

Wonderful Seedless Lemons expansion begins at Bianchi Ranch in Salinas Valley, California.
